IXARA LLC ("IXARA," "we," "us," or "our") operates the QuietCare mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

Account Information: Name and email address when you create an account via Sign in with Apple. If you choose "Hide My Email," we receive only a private relay address.
Planning Data: Healthcare preferences, advance directives, trusted circle contacts, and documents you voluntarily upload.
Conversations: Messages exchanged with Haven, our AI planning companion.
Check-ins: Mood and wellness data you submit through daily check-ins.

We do NOT collect: advertising identifiers (IDFA), location data, contacts or address book data, or browsing/search history.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the App's features
To create and manage your account
To store and protect your documents securely
To facilitate communication with your trusted circle
To improve the Haven AI planning companion
To send important notifications about your plan

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Documents are encrypted with per-user keys. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information.

4. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal information. We do NOT share your data with third-party advertisers. Data is shared only:

With your designated trusted circle members, at your explicit direction
With service providers (Azure cloud hosting) under strict data processing agreements
When required by law or legal process

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data (Settings → Export Data)
Correct inaccurate information
Delete your account and all associated data (Settings → Delete My Account)
Withdraw consent at any time

Account deletion is permanent and irrevocable after 30 days. All documents, encryption keys, conversations, and proxy connections are destroyed.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all data is permanently destroyed within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

QuietCare is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email.
